Continental Control Corporation’s Air Fuel Mixer (AMF) introduces gas to diesel engines by optimizing air and natural gas mixing. It is also one of the four essential components of Continental Control’s Gas Substitution system (GSS) which includes the GSS controller, GV2, and gas manifold. The low-pressure region of the AFM’s throat contains a multitude of evenly dispersed fuel inlet vanes and passages. Due to the constant load changes, the AFM can automatically adjust inlet fuel pressure and aerodynamically maintains proper air/fuel mixture. The AFM can evenly distribute fuel resulting in cleaner burning fuel, higher substitution rates, and fewer emissions.
